Built on the belief that wholesome food should never compromise on flavor, the team behind the Fort Lauderdale favorite, Myapapaya Juicery & Kitchen, set out to bring their chef-driven, scratch-made philosophy to a broader audience. They envisioned a new, elevated restaurant concept that would capture the heart and soul of Myapapaya, while introducing a more scalable model built for growth. Partnering with The Culinary Edge, the Worthwyld team aimed to define a premium fast casual brand positioned for expansion, beginning in the Fort Lauderdale area and ultimately growing nationally.

Consumer desire for food that feels both good for you and good to eat continues to grow, particularly in wellness-forward markets like South Florida. Guests are seeking flavorful, high-quality meals rooted in transparency and craftsmanship, without the constraints and price point of full-service dining. By tapping into the emotional equity and community trust of Myapapaya, TCE identified an opportunity to evolve that same authenticity into a more modern, scalable expression, one that celebrates wholesome indulgence and everyday wellness in a refined and polished atmosphere.

The Culinary Edge worked closely with the Worthwyld founders to translate their chef-driven ethos into a clear, differentiated brand platform. In order to do this, The Culinary Edge leveraged a mulit-phase approach to concept creation. 

  • Built a distinct brand strategy and culinary philosophy anchored in high quality, scratch made and wholesome everyday faire. 

  • Developed a fresh, cohesive menu that balances craveable, nutrient-forward dishes with operational simplicity.

  • Partnered with the founding chef to create new signature menu items that embody Worthwyld’s elevated, real ingredient point of view.

  • Designed an efficient, flexible back-of-house system that supports scratch cooking at scale.

  • Collaborated with the design partner to ensure every brand touchpoint, from ordering experience to interior aesthetic, aligned seamlessly with Worthwyld’s culinary philosophy.

Worthwyld brings its “Food Uncompromised™” philosophy to life with a chef-driven menu crafted entirely from scratch—without cream, butter, or fryers, proving that healthy food can still be craveable. The 4,500-square-foot flagship on Las Olas Boulevard combines modern design with a flexible hybrid service model that lets guests dine their way, from morning coffee to evening cocktails. Praised by local media for its “casually elegant” atmosphere and flavorful, wellness-forward dishes, Worthwyld has quickly become a Fort Lauderdale favorite and a scalable blueprint for elevated, health-centric dining.
