THE CHALLENGE

AMC sought to create a credible, sales driving menu for its dine-in theatres that accounted for a limited operational platform and challenging theatre dining environment.

THE SOLUTION

TCE developed a menu that aligned AMC’s core brand strengths with existing and aspirational consumers, and extended its capabilities in food. The menu highlights modernized versions of classic American dishes, and is weighted toward handheld items and dishes that require only one utensil to make for a dark, theatre-friendly eating experience.

THE BUZZ

The menu has launched systemwide in 42 theatres across 19 states. Increased quality in food, beverage and experience as well as a shift in the culture of cooking and service has led to an increase in sales and positive consumer feedback.
