Alyson’s strong background in nutrition paired with her business background brings a fresh point of view to The Culinary Edge.
Alyson graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Foods and Nutrition. Following undergrad, Alyson went on to pass the Commission of Dietetic Registration national examination and receive her credentials as a registered dietitian.
Throughout her career, in addition to nutrition, Alyson has also always had one foot firmly planted in the foodservice world. Working in several institutional environments, including hospitals, Alyson gained experience supervising and managing large scale foodservice operations in addition to her work in menu planning and nutrient analysis. More specifically related to restaurants, Alyson also worked as director of nutrition at FoodCALC, the gold standard nutrition analysis and insights solutions provider for the foodservice industry.
Now at The Culinary Edge, Alyson brings valuable insight to all of our work, supporting both the project management and business development teams.
