First-time restaurant entrepreneurs Josh Spiegelman and Lynn Gorfinkle had a simple but lofty vision for fast casual concept, Roam Artisan Burgers. They wanted to prove it’s possible to make—and successfully sell—a healthier burger without sacrificing flavor or compromising the environment.
The Culinary Edge collaborated with Josh and Lynn on every aspect of their ambitious start-up venture. The Culinary Edge helped finalize the concept and menu, select the site, design the kitchen, and open the restaurant. Throughout the process, The Culinary Edge maintained the project vision, ensuring that all food met the owners’ goal of working with socially responsible purveyors, stayed within cost parameters, and could be easily and consistently executed in-house.
Bon Appétit Magazine named Roam a “Top 10 Burger Spots”. Success of the first location lead Roam to open a second San Francisco restaurant, and expand to the East Bay.
