Freshëns yogurt and smoothie company came to The Culinary Edge with a clear growth agenda and three strategic goals: 1. Define a more comprehensive snack menu, 2. Respond to consumers’ growing interest in tart yogurt, and 3. Identify opportunities to improve smoothie formulas and expand smoothie offerings.
After a thorough review of Freshëns’ competitive set coupled with in-depth consumer and food industry research, The Culinary Edge recommended a snacking approach featuring products that pair well with Freshëns’ core yogurt products and reinforce overall brand positioning. Tart yogurt and updated toppings were introduced along with several reformulated smoothies that fit necessary operation and distribution models.
Following the success of the project, Freshëns continues to partner with The Culinary Edge for new product development.
